Yei Catholic Bishop on Friday asked Christians to pray for the death people on All Souls Day because they can no longer pray for themselves.
Erkulano Lodu Tombe said ‘if we remember the dead and pray for them, when we die the living ones will pray for us and the dead people will become our friends in heaven’, Easter Radio reported.
He said praying for the dead ones was the kindness of the people alive so that after they die those alive will do the same.
Bishop Lodu clarified that the All Souls Day on November 2 is important for all to pray for the dead relatives.
