Building materials are delaying construction of Alexandria University in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
Construction Manager Mohamed Kamasha said on Wednesday that building materials and rains delayed the construction, Don Bosco Radio reported
Mr Kamasha said the materials for construction were coming from Egypt through Mombasa in Kenya to South Sudan.
He said books, blackboards, tables and chairs were stranded at Mombasa because of bad roads.
Mr Kamasha said the University has three faculties: Agriculture, Veterinary and Economics.
He added that the University will help many young people to study.
Mr Kamasha said authorities took care of Alexandria University security.
