An team for school assessment started a two-day work in Western Bahr El-Ghazal covering three counties.
National Deputy Minister of Education Bol Makueng who heads the team disclosed that the officials would concentrate on assessing learning environment, students and teacher’s conditions as well as the curriculum, Voice of Peace reported.
Mr. Makueng said the assessment would cover information on the general learning conditions in the three counties of Jur, Wau and Raja.
The assessment is an initiative of the national education ministry to check on the status of education in the country and address some challenges in the new plan of action.
