WES, CES Commissioners meet in Yambio

Western Equatoria and Central Equatoria commissioners met in Yambio to discuss good relationship among Equatoria citizens.
 
Yambio County Commissioner Kuzee John Elia said they discussed economy, security and collaboration among counties, Anisa Radio reported.
 
He added that they discussed how to discover local production markets for the three states and South Sudan in general.
 
Juba County Commissioner Stephen Wani said their priority is to unite Equatorians and extend the same cooperation to other regions like, Greater Bahr el Ghazal and Upper Nile.
 
He urged the three states top officials to allow commissioners to discuss border issues because they are closer to people at the grassroots.
 
Terekeka County Commissioner Jacob Gore appreciated the Greater Equatoria Governors for working towards unity, peace and development at all levels.
 
He said soon they would extend the same visit to other states of South Sudan to build a peaceful united nation.
 
Five commissioners from Western Equatoria and two from Central Equatoria met in Yambio as a preliminary step before forming the Greater Equatoria Commissioner’s Forum that will take place in the nearest future.
