Uganda commits to regional cooperation

The Resident District Commissioner of Moyo, Uganda, said his government was committed to regional cooperation and peace with its neighbouring countries.
 
John Mutabingwa called on the regional conference in Yei on Wednesday to be aware of challenges that would face the implementation process of the resolutions, Easter Radio reported.
 
Mr Mutabingwa called for commitment and ownership of the resolutions for their successful implementation.
 
He stressed the need to mobilize and educate communities on the resolutions including security to realize socio-economic development.
 
The three-day joint regional conference under the theme ‘The cross border security’ brought together delegates from the Orientele Province of DR Congo, Uganda, and Central and Western Equatoria states of South Sudan.
