Thiet Payam flood victims in Tonj South County of Warrap State received some non food assistance.
Tonj South County Commissioner William Wol on Wednesday said he received 518 tents for flood affected people, Don Bosco Radio reported
He added that the government of South Sudan donated 300 tents and MPs and citizens in Juba donated another 218 tents to the flood affected people in Greater Tonj.
Mr Wol said Thiet was the most affected payam in Warrap State and the national government requested WFP to transport non food items to vulnerable people in the area.
The Commissioner said the people who were displaced in the five payams and bomas of Greater Tonj receive tents.
Mr Wol urged officials and intellectuals to allow vulnerable people get the tents because they were not enough for 42 thousand households.
He advised Greater Tonj communities to be patient while waiting for the remaining tents from Juba.
