Heiban payam schools need teachers

Heiban Payam Education Supervisor in Nuba Mountains said his payam needs teachers to run local schools affected by the two-year war.
 
Many teachers left schools in Nuba Mountains following the war breakout in June 2011.
 
Education Supervisor Andrew Kuku told Voice of Peace that the Heiban Payam ran short of teachers and school materials since the reopening of schools in the beginning of October.
 
He said Heiban Payam Education administration was working out some solutions to address education needs.
 
Mr Kuku explained that Heiban Payam Education office reported to the Nuba Regional Education office to provide teachers and teaching materials.
 
Heiban Payam has a total of six nursery and 16 primary schools.
