Central Equatorial State Governor on Wednesday urged delegates from South Sudan, Uganda and DR Congo to jointly work for peace around the common borders.
Clement Wani Konga told the delegates at the end of a three-day conference on Wednesday that working for peace would encourage those taking up arms against governments to join the development process in the country, Easter Radio reported.
Governor Wani appealed to the delegates to always come together and continue discussing issues affecting the three countries to boost development.
He questioned that if one did not reveal his problems to the other, how would that person know!
Governor Wani asked delegates to remain faithful to the resolutions for the three countries’ welfare.
The three-day joint regional conference concluded on Wednesday resolving to beef up security, provide social services and reduce some trade obstacles.
