Tombura-Yambio Diocesan Development Peace Office Director said roads are the source of development.
James Mabu made the statement on Tuesday while heading diocesan staff to fill with murram potholes in the Yambio-Nzara road near St Mary’s Church, Anisa Radio reported.
He urged communities to start implementing self help development initiatives before the government and well wishers intervene.
Curia Secretary Jonina Natale said the staff were filling the road potholes to avoid accidents.
She urged communities to clean their surroundings and feeder roads to avoid illnesses and ease movements.
Tombura-Yambio diocese rehabilitated several feeder roads in Yambio and Namutina payams.
