Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator called for the establishment of seminaries and for South Sudan’s Church self-reliance.
Monsignor Thomas Oliha stressed the need to be self-reliant in terms of priests, Christians and her personnel, Emmanuel Radio reported.
He said formation of seminaries was one of the factors of self-reliance.
Monsignor Oliha also stressed the need to sensitize the laity on social teachings and doctrines for better understanding of the Catholic Church.
The apostolic administrator was talking during the closure of a three-day workshop on the Social Teaching of the Catholic Church in Torit.
