A Payam administrator in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Thursday ordered youths to stop wrestling competition on Sunday.
Daniel Mabith said they stopped the competition because there was such a practice in Yirol County by Atuot communities where youths ended up fighting, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He accused some youths of not respecting elders and their age mates while wrestling in the Freedom Square.
Mr Mabith ordered Bongo Executive Chief Ramandan Delenge Marjan to tell Atuot and Bongo youths to stop the completion on Sunday until further notice.
The Chief said the former Commissioner Mario Monydhieth Gor stopped wrestling because of fighting in the Freedom Square.
Chief Marjan said he would talk to the youths to stop the wrestling competition and work for peace and development of the country.
