A man exploded a grenade in Tonj market killing two people leaving two others injured on Friday in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
Tonj South Police Commissioner Santino Monybut said a South Sudanese man who exploded the grenade and a Darfur trader died on spot, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said the man quarrelled with one of the traders in the market and ran home to bring his weapon.
Mr Monybut said the wounded people were one woman and one business man working in the main market of Tonj.
The Police Commissioner added that the wounded people were taken to Tonj Civil Hospital for treatment.
He advised relatives of the victims to be patient and give police a chance to investigate the incident.
