Anisono Development Organization conducted a one-day workshop on human rights and gender-based violence in Yambio, Western Equatoria State.
Organization coordinator John Gbemboyo said the workshop focused on child rights protection, HIV AIDS and gender-based violence among others, Anisa Radio reported.
He complained that Anisono lacked support from other development partners.
Fr Gbemboyo appreciated South Sudan Law Society for facilitating the workshop together with Yambio County HIV AIDS representative.
He disclosed that soon Anisono will start touring schools in Yambio and Nzara counties.
One of the participants, Rita Daniel Singira, said the members of Anisono Development Agency will continue their commitment to serve the communities.
Anisono Development Agency is a new community based organization founded in November 2012 with 17 members, including seven females.
