Lutheran Church to open education college in Yambio

The President of the Lutheran Church of Ethiopia, who coordinated education programs, says the Church plans to open a College of Education in Yambio, Western Equatoria State. 
 
Kebede Getachew Yigezu visited sate Education Minister Pia Philip Michael to inquire about education policy, rules, strategies and requirements for opening an institution of learning in the area, Anisa Radio reported.
 
He disclosed that the Lutheran Church wanted to open a full package Education College comprised of secular and theological faculties.
 
Minster Pia welcomed the idea and promised to support the implementation of this college.
 
He acknowledged churches’ investments in Western Equatoria State and South Sudan.
 
Felix Luka, the Vicar for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sudan and South Sudan, escorted the President of the Lutheran Church of Ethiopia to Yambio.
