Tonj South County Public Health Director told traders and cooks to keep their goods away from the sun.
Marko Saidy Dichol said that he wanted traders to keep sugar, flour, beans, soda and other goods protected from light and heat, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He urged traders and cooks to clean their business places before putting goods out in the morning.
Mr Dichol said heat and light spoil and change the colour of goods and make people sick.
He urged butchers to repair the place where they slaughter animals to keep flies and diseases away.
Mr Dichol also advised traders, tea makers and butcher to have their health documents in order otherwise their places will be closed down.
