Unknown gunmen killed one businessman and wounded another in Rumbek, the capital of Lakes State.
The assailants stormed a house in Malakia around five o’clock of Wednesday morning and after the shooting ran away on a motorbike, Good News Radio reported.
The deceased was indentified as Hammed Adam and the injured Anur Ibrahim.
Acting Police Inspector Captain Marial Maker told Good News Radio that he received the report that both the dead and the injured were taken to Rumbek hospital.
Captain Maker said that there were still no suspects arrested.
He added that a committee was found to investigate the crime and the police wanted to talk to people who saw the crime.
The shooting took in Malakia residential area in Rumbek Central County.
