Ezo County Commissioner on Monday called for an immediate end to the conflict between the Payam Chief and Administrator of Naandi communities.
Ezo press secretary Martin Zagi told Anisa Radio that the commissioner visited Naandi Payam to resolve the misunderstandings between Payam administrator Badin Mboro and Payam Chief Moses Salvatore Zaza.
He said Naandi residents were mobilizing to strike against their Payam Chief accusing him of misbehaving in the community.
They wrote a petition asking the county authorities to remove the Chief from his position.
Chief Zaza said his intention was to rule people according to the African tradition.
The meeting resolved that both the Payam administrator and Chief should continue working amicably and live in harmony to give good example to the community.
The two leaders exchanged greetings as sign of reconciliation in front of the County Commissioner, the Executive Director and Ezo paramount Chief Anthony Ture Gbatanyaki.
