Gidel Parish youths played a football match against the Kauda Teachers Training College students to mark the celebration of St Daniel Comboni in Nuba Mountains.
Gidel Parish scored one goal in the first half and Kauda drew the game during the second.
Yunan Idriss, a student from Kauda Teachers Training College, told Voice of Peace that football was the best sport for young people.
He said sports always promote unity in the community.
Mr Yunan encouraged players to be always friendly during games.
