The Mayoress of Yei warned citizens against spreading rumours in the municipality urging them to build a good relationship.
Cilia Oba Tito told the press that with the political changes in the municipality some people were spreading rumours to destabilize the work, Easter Radio reported.
She added that she does not entertain rumours and people should accept political changes.
Mayoress Oba warned that her priority is to bring peace, unity and development to the municipality.
She added that the authorities would not tolerate chaos.
Mayoress Oba made the remarks while holding a press conference at her office in Yei on Monday.
