Western Equatoria Governor announced a go to school campaign in the Equatoria region.

Joseph Bangasi Bakasoro said on Saturday that illiteracy in the region was undermining competition, adding that it was time to compete without complaints.

Mr Bakasoro revealed that Vice President James Wani Igga, Governor Clement Konga of Central Equatoria, and Governor Louis Lobong Lojore of Eastern Equatoria and himself were still studying.

He said he was studying security issues and asked citizens to emulate the example of their leaders.

Governor Bakasoro made the call on Saturday during a thanksgiving ceremony for the appointment of Equatorians to the national cabinet in Juba.
