More than 80 cars and trucks stuck in Makuei area after heavy rains made Tonj-Rumbek road impassable leaving drivers stranded without food and water.
One of the drivers, Kon Selibe told Don Bosco Radio that he spent six days on the road without food.
He complained that vehicles which were going to Tonj, Thiet, Wau, Kwajok, Aweil and those intending to go to Juba all stuck and people were left suffering.
Mr Selibe called on state and national authorities to rescue their situation.
The driver said they only lack food and water, but were secure.
