South Sudan Voice of Women for Peace and Faith in Yei River County of Central Equatorial state called for political and socio-economic fairness at all levels.
The chairlady Harriet Baka said they need equity, justice and peaceful society, Easter Radio reported.
She said since 2005 their group realized gender-based violence, child and drug abuses.
Participants’ representative Rose Mary said women were peacemakers in families.
The two-day workshop brought together Muslim and Christian women.
