The Bishop of Yei Catholic Diocese called on the Young Christian Students or YCS to become priests and sisters to accomplish the work left by Jesus Christ.
Erkulano Lodu Tombe in his homily at Christ the King Parish said it was good for YCS to become Church leaders as long as they have Catholic faith, Easter Radio reported.
The Bishop explained that becoming priests and sisters was not by force, but the faith draws young people to answer the call of God.
Bishop Lodu said the Diocese will continue sending boys to the seminary although they do not become priests because they would become good Christians and Church pillars.
He added that the philosophy section was closed but philosophers are still there.
The bishop made this remarks while presiding over Eucharistic celebrations on Saturday marking the closure of the YCS Day.
