Authorities in Yei River County urged non-governmental organisations operating in health and education sectors to re-define their operations to meet community needs.
Commissioner Juma David Augustine said they noted that many NGOs were working in water and hygiene programs not recommended by county authorities, Easter Radio reported.
He directed all NGOs to implement the strategic plans of Yei River County.
Commissioner David threatened to deport NGOs not meeting needs of citizens in the area.
Yei CEFORD Program Coordinator Mawa Lazarus called for cooperation to realise tangible service delivery.
The Commissioner addressed the press after an extraordinary meeting with development partners in Yei.
