Tonj South Water Coordinator urges people to keep boreholes clean

Water Coordinator in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Thursday urged citizens to keep the boreholes and their pipes clean to avoid waterborne diseases.
 
Mapuor Anei advised parents and guardians to keep their children away from water sources, Don Bosco Radio reported.
 
He explained that dirty water breeds mosquitoes and bring diseases like malaria, diarrhoea and cholera.
 
Mr Anei advised all people to maintain cleanliness and use clean water to prevent diseases.
 
He urged parents and guardians to advise their children to use the boreholes and water pipes properly. 
 
Mr Anei advised cooks to cover their heads with clothes while preparing food at home and in restaurants.
