Yabongo Girls’ Boarding Secondary School headmaster on Tuesday presented to the State Education Minister green house installation budget.
Gumehe Angbaya said GIZ Company accepted the proposal to open a green house at Yabongo Girls’ Secondary School in Yambio, Anisa Radio reported.
He added that GIZ requested for land lease from the Ministry and the amount of 4,360 SSP as government contribution.
Minister Pia Philip Michael appreciated GIZ and thanked the headmaster for presentation.
He told the headmaster to engage the Parents-Teachers Association and train them to manage the green house.
The Green house aimed at providing grains and vegetables to students for their balance diet and the school sustainability.
GIZ coordinator Kiden Grace Wani urged the school administration to fully dedicate its time to the supervision of the house.
