The caretaker Governor of Lakes state on Monday issued gubernatorial decree appointing ministers and county commissioners.
Matur Chut Dhuol reduced the ministries from 14 to 9, appointed new faces including two women, Good News Radio reported.
The Governor appointed Mabor Achol Kuer Deputy Governor and minister for Education and Laat Mathou Alei Local Government and Law Enforcement minister.
In the same decree he appointed Joseph Maker Madit minister for Finance, Trade and Industry and put Dut Makoi Kuok to the Ministry of Information and Communication.
Daniel Chol Koknyin became minister for Physical Infrastructure, Madong William Mading was put to head the ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Resource and
Fisheries and Majok Malek Ruom was appointed Health Minister.
The Governor assigned Marriam Paul Jibi as Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports, Achol Abel Aguek Minister for Social Development and James Aguer Dut was appointed Commissioner of state headquarters.
He replaced Awerial County Commissioner David Mayom Riak with Andrew Ayiu Ajeth, but the other Commissioners retained their positions.
Governor Chut appointed Dut Malual Arop, Political advisor, Santo Domic Chol Security advisor, Nehemiah Ater Toric Economics Advisor, Ezekiel Thiang Mangar Peace and Reconciliation Advisor.
The same decree appointed Alfred Abiar Wol Border Affairs Advisor and Alfred Meen Machiek Technical Advisor.
