Six murder suspects remain in detention for at least two weeks in Nimule police cell due to lack of transport.
Nimule Police chief Major Angelo Saverio said the institution lacks vehicle to transport the suspects to Torit, Eastern Equatoria state for further administration of justice, Emmanuel Radio reported.
He expressed fear over the prolonged detention of the suspects terming it a violation of human rights.
Major Saverio pointed out that a suspect was by law was supposed to be detained for only 24 hours and be tried in court.
