A mobile operator apologized to its customers in Tonj following Wednesday network interruption for more than 24 hours due to technical difficulties.
Western Bahr El Ghazal GemTel Branch Manager Juma David said the network cut off resulted from generator failure, Voice of Hope reported.
He said the problem was fixed and the Gemtel was on air in Tonj on Thursday.
He acknowledged that the network failure in Tonj was the first of its kind and that the company will ensure that further occurrences are minimized.
