President Kiir to resolve Lakes States SPLM disputes

The President of Republic said he was in Lakes state to settle the ongoing disagreements within SPLM party and Lakes State members of the parliament.
 
Salva Kiir Mayardit told a rally on Wednesday at Rumbek Freedom Square that he will meet Legislators, executive and all party members to ensure that every member respects the party order, Good News Radio reported.
 
He said SPLM is becoming unpopular across the country because of pride, greed and too much thirst for leadership among its members.
 
The President revealed that he disagreed with his former Vice President because Riek Machar Teny was impatient.
 
President Kiir pointed out that Dr Machar refused his advised to resign but continued opposing the government from within.
 
He explained that some members accused him of destroying SPLM after he dismissed two ministers for embezzling eight million US dollars.
 
President Kiir said he was also criticized for removing SPLA war veterans and replacing them with people known as Khartoum stooges in the cabinet.
 
The President added that the ministers are South Sudanese and do not belong to Khartoum anymore.
 
President Kiir promised to support Governor Matur Chut in restoring security and service delivery to Lakes State citizens.
