Ezo parish in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio organized a pilgrimage to Mupoi, the holy land of the diocese.
Ezo Press Secretary Martin Zagi told Anisa Radio that 20 pilgrims headed by their Parish Priest Fr Jacinto Nangi on Monday left for Mupoi before the end of the Year of Faith in December.
The parish priest said the visit motivated Christians to strengthen their faith after the first centenary celebration on December 12.
Fr Nangi added that the last centenary celebration in Mupoi touched lives of people in the diocese, the country and the world.
After Mupoi celebration, Bishop Edwardo Hiiboro Kussala assigned Regina Mundi Parish of Ezo to organize the first anniversary of centenary celebration in Mupoi on December 12, 2013.
The Bishop said the centenary celebrations shall be organized each year in each parish.
