The Catholic Archbishop of Juba on Monday returned home after almost a five-month surgery on the left knee in Rome, Italy.
Paolino Lukudu Loro told the press shortly after touchdown at Juba International Airport that the medical mission was accomplished successfully, Bakhita Radio reported.
He said after the left knee surgery, he can now walk properly.
Archbishop Lukudu said he was happy to return to the Archdiocese and the country.
the Archbishop said while he was in Rome he was also following the situation in the country where the President brought in new ministers to serve people.
He congratulated the new ministers and urged them to deliver services to the people of God.
Archbishop Lukudu urged South Sudanese to unite and love one another.
He said St Joseph’s Parish Priest Peter Loro Bambu will arrive on September 26 after successful treatment in India.
Archbishop Lukudu passed his condolence to victims of the bomb at Nairobi shopping mall, lamenting that the situation was shocking and all must pray for the victims.
The Catholic prelate said while in Rome he met some authorities though he did not meet the Pope, but that he will invite him to Juba one time.
