The faithful of Ngangala chapel in Lirya Parish of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba on Thursday celebrated the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Fr James Lodu who presided over the mass said the commemoration of the day was to bring hope to Christians, Bakhita Radio reported.
He explained that the teaching of the Catholic Church said Virgin Mary was taken alive to heaven.
Fr Lodu urged the faithful of Ngangala to build their faith.
