Central Equatoria Union of people with disabilities on Friday arrived in Yei River County to assess challenges facing people living with disabilities.
A five-member committee was touring Lainya, Kajo-keji and Yei counties.
The Union chairman Sebit Khabli Ezbon said the assessment will enable them to present issues affecting the disable community to the Government during the September conference.
Yei River County Commissioner Juma David Augustine told the Union to consider views of the people with disabilities at all levels.
National Democratic Institute for International Affairs supported the union’s activities since 2009.
