Tonj South County in Warrap State Water Coordinator advised citizens to make proper use of boreholes.
Mapur Anei Machiek on Thursday told Don Bosco Radio that the office lack boreholes spare parts.
Mr Machiek said children broke most of the boreholes.
He urged parents and guardians to advise their children to carefully pump their boreholes.
Assistant Water Coordinator Lino Mayom said the office got a report that Manyangok, Thiet Payams and Aguka Boma boreholes were broken.
Mr Mayom urged communities and payams supervisors to take care of the boreholes and use them properly to prevent diseases.
He said every borehole has the committee to check and bring the report to the office and the office assigns a team to repair.
Mr Mayom told all the people of Tonj South to maintain the few boreholes left.
