Lakes State Labour and Public Service Director-General urged youth to join vocational centres to acquire technical skills.

Abraham Makur Mangok on Thursday called on youths to turn up for vocational training other than waiting for white scholar jobs, Good News Radio reported.

He encouraged youths to stop misjudging technical jobs.

Mr Mangok called on foreign drivers to register and obtain work permit from the ministry.

He added that many young men are loitering with driving licenses without jobs in the state.

Mr Mangok said the ministry is registering the drivers to create jobs for the locals in the state.

The Director-General threatened to take legal measures against drivers who will not turn up for the registration.
