UNHCR visits Yambio Commissioner

United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees or UNHCR South Sudan head of Mission and the Refugee Council representative visited Yambio County Commissioner.
 
Cosmas Chanda and John Dabi said their visit aimed at opening a new office in the County by the end of August and employ potential staff. 
 
Mr Dabi said refugees in Western Equatoria State were complaining about lack of land to cultivate.
 
He added that the delegation planned to visit Makpandu Refugees camp to assess their living conditions.
 
Mr Chanda thanked the Commissioner for collaborating with partners especially UNHCR.
 
Yambio Commissioner Kuzee John Elia said the state government was keen to keep good relationship with all partners.
 
He added that Yambio County is always concern about the situation of refugees in Makpandu camp.
