Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese is a major contributor to the development of Western Equatoria State.
Development and Peace Director James Mabu said currently the diocese is running many activities with its partners.
He said World Food Programme constructed two ware houses in Rimenze and Gangura to support local farmers as part of the purchase for progress project.
Mr Mabu said CAFOD will next week launch the construction of children’s center in Tombura to support more than 40 orphans.
He disclosed that Caritas Germany is funding agriculture recovery project by supplying seeds and tools to farmers and train extension workers.
Mr Mabu urged the community to do some voluntary works for the diocese.
