Yei River County Animal Resources and Fisheries Department official called on state, national Governments and development partners to support the fish growing.
Animal Resources Assistant Commissioner Milton Ismail Juma told Easter Radio that more than 50 fish growers have limited access to fish food.
He said over flooding remains a big challenge to fish growers.
Mr Isamil said fish has nitrous value to human health and socio economic benefits.
Mugwo Payam is the leading fish grower with more than 20 fish ponds in the area.
