The National Legislative Assembly rejected Justice Minister.

Speaker James Wani Igga on Tuesday announced that 150 members in the Assembly voted against Telar Ring compared to 97 MPs who supported his appointment.

The MPs rejected on the ground that Mr Ring lack proper documents and did not meet the select committee’s criteria.

Speaker Wani Igga thanked the committee and the August House for completing their task.

The house approved the appointment of Nadia Arop Dudi as minister for Culture Youth, Culture and Sport, but did not approved three deputy ministers.

The country now runs with 18 Ministers and 12 deputies.

The position of the vice president and the minister in the Office of the President are still vacant.
