National Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Undersecretary appealed to state governments to establish youth centres and allot pieces of land for youths’ activities and permanent accommodation.
Peter Baptist Abakar on Monday told the press that giving plots to youth ease getting funds from non-governmental organizations.
Mr Baptist said they are advocating for plots to build permanent youth residents in all states.
He said youths were not getting chances of coming together to talk and make changes in the country.
Mr Baptist said foreigners are monopolizing employment opportunities in South Sudan because youths lack skills.
The Undersecretary was speaking in a press conference marking the International Youth Day under the theme ”Youth Migration: Moving Development Forward.”
