Hundreds of Muslims in Eastern Equatoria State on Thursday joined the rest of the globe to celebrate Id El Fitr.
State minister for Culture and Social Development Patrick Lodinga commended the Muslim community for completing the month peacefully, Emmanuel Radio reported.
He called for peace and unity in the state and the entire nation.
Mr Lodinga urged the Muslim community to pray for the people suffering in Jonglei and other states of South Sudan.
He called on the community to contribute for the development of the nation.
