State Wildlife General Director gave a green light to the Tonj South County Wildlife Director to kill the crocodile that killed 18-year boy last week in river.

Wildlife Officer James Rel Yak said he went and confirmed the place where the crocodile ate the boy, Don Bosco Radio reported.

He explained that the boy spent almost three hours holding a tree struggling to liberate himself from the crocodile, but there was nobody near to help him.

Mr Yak urged Tonj South residents to give Wildlife a chance to hunt and kill the crocodile.
