Finance Minister to increase non-oil revenue to 90 million monthly

The newly appointed Finance and Economic Planning minister planned to raise non-oil revenues from 70 to 90 million South Sudanese Pounds per month within 100 days after assuming office.
 
Aggrey Tisa Sabuni said he will continue with the economic reforms put in place by his predecessor Kosti Manibe to ensure proper implementation of the Public Finance Management Act.
 
He promised to ensure that the current Procurement Bill is passed to enhance transparency and accountability.
 
Mr Tisa said he would improve relationships with donors to achieve economic, financial and political stability in the country.
