Easter Radio on Wednesday concluded a workshop to bridge a gap hindering information flow for educating communities on health issues.

BBC Media Action in collaboration with Easter Radio organized the one-day workshops that addressed a lot of community contentious health issues.

Martha Clinic health worker Charles Agele said the workshop was a good initiative because journalists and health workers ironed out difficulties facing health issues coverage for common benefit.

He added that if journalists and health personnel work together South Sudan would reduce high child and maternal mortality rate.

One of the journalists Gabriel Taban called on colleagues to be accurate, fair and comply with journalistic code of ethics.

He urged health workers and citizens to be open in giving information to journalists for public awarenes.

The workshop brought together a number of journalists and health workers from both governmental and non-governmental organizations in Yei River County.
