Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO on Monday trained eight executive directors in Rumbek, Lakes State.
CEPO director Edmond Yakani told Good News Radio that the directors were trained on their roles and responsibilities.
He said the directors will also be trained on fundraising and civilian protection.
Mr Yakani said executive directors have many duties in the county including financial management and civil servant leadership.
He said CEPO’s next target is to bring together county commissioners, ministers and director-generals.
CEPO is working in five states to strengthen local government administrative officers.
Oxfam GB-South Sudan is funding CEPO.
