Loyola Secondary School on Wednesday celebrated the feast of St Ignatius of Loyola under the theme: ‘Light to the nations the only way.’
The feast started with Eucharistic celebration which brought together hundreds of students including Egyptian group carrying evangelization in the area, Voice of Hope reported.
A Jesuit scholar working in the School Pascal Isimwamu said Loyola Secondary was one of the schools giving quality education to students.
He explained that the School was founded in 1992 and was interrupted by the civil war and reopened in 2006 in Wau.
Mr Pascal said the school aims at brightening the future and rendering services to young people of South Sudan.
He added that the school is committed to bring up children through quality education.
Loyola secondary school was founded in 1992 by Jesuits Priests.
St Ignatius the founder of Society of Jesus, died on July 1491.
