The parliamentary technical committee to check the newly formed cabinet recommended to the President of the Republic that ministers’ appointment be based on their educational qualifications.
The Committee Chairperson Abuk Paite Ayik told the press on Tuesday that they faced numerous challenges during the vetting process.
She said some ministers were appointed into ministries not related to careers detailed in their curriculum vitaes.
Ms Paite revealed that the committee will present the report to the August House on Wednesday.
The National Legislative Assembly on Monday postponed its sitting waiting for a vetting report from the committee.
