Lake State youths from various constituencies on Saturday discussed with State MPs issues affecting development and rule of law.

The youths questioned MPs on insecurity, human rights, land disputes, high bride price, budgets allocation and Community Development Fund or CDF status, Good News Radio reported.

The MPs defended that they made laws but the executive failed to implementation them.

They also blamed the national government for allocating little money to the states and national MPs for CDF mismanagement.

MP Ater Jeremiah accused some government organs of blocking MPs from exercising their functions citing the recent incident in which a prisoner was tortured to death at Langcok Military Prisons.

Deputy Speaker Nhial Enock Cahoc admitted lack of coordination between Juba and the states under the centralized governance.

Mr Cahoc called for a review of the system and for federalism in South Sudan.
