Torit Apostolic Administrator on Saturday reached Sacred Heart Parish in Chukudum amidst welcoming jubilations.
Monsignor Thomas Oliha thanked the congregation for a warm and joyful welcome and asked them to pray to God to strengthen their faith, Emmanuel Radio reported.The Apostolic Administrator appealed to the people of Chukudum to reconcile and live in peace.
Monsignor Oliha expressed his pursuit for constant prayer for harmony and total peace among the people of Eastern Equatoria.
Budi County Acting Commissioner Paul Kalisto welcomed the Apostolic Administrator.
Among the Christians who received Monsignor Oliha were the Sacred Heart Chukudum Parish Priest Dario Arite, traditional dancers, the choir and youths.
The pastoral visit of Apostolic Administrator on Saturday to Chukudum was the first since his installation on June 9.
